Hernando, Mississippi Skatepark Now Open

Summer was wrapped up with a bang as Jasper Kahn's crew completed the Hernando, Mississippi Skatepark just thirty minutes south of Memphis, Tennessee.

The boys labored tirelessly in the Mississippi heat and humidity to build this long awaited skatepark for the community of Hernando. Checkout the gallery below. 

The Grand Opening of the Hernando park happened this past weekend. Here's some footage from their celebration:

 

This skatepark was no small feat, and thanks to the many years of effort by Edward Pidgeon, the skatepark committee leader, they now have a world class skatepark. They've named the park 'Pidgeon Park' in his honor. If you are ever in Mississippi this skatepark is unique to the state and well worth a visit.
